Brad Garoon’s undiagnosed OCD and lifelong love of hamburgers led him to organizing Burger Weekly, a place for him to express his gluttony in a tidy manner while helping the world’s burger-lovers find the right joints at which to chow-down. Every ‘Merica Monday, NY Weekly Wednesday, and Foreign Friday, Burger Weekly brings news of the world’s best (and unfortunately, sometimes most disappointing) bovine offerings.

Favorite style of Burger: Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger

Favorite Childhood Burger: The Redcoat Burger at the Redcoat Tavern in Royal Oak, Michigan. Still searching for a place with a special sauce that tastes close to Redcoat Sauce.

Burger that haunts your dreams at night: The Baller Burger at the Heights in Morningside Heights. Downed it twice, and still have PTSD.

What is the one Burger you’ve always wanted to try but still have not: In-N-Out, and admitting I’ve never had it feels like Burger Blasphemy.

The secret to making a great Burger: Only flip it once, and be mindful of your bun.

Under no circumstances whatsoever, what should NEVER be put on aBurger: I have yet to find anything I dislike on a burger in all circumstances, but I’m guessing that cauliflower would be terrible.

If you could eat any Mythical Creature which would it be: Extinct rather than mythical, but I’d like to eat an Aurochs.

If you could have a Burger with anyone alive, or dead, fictional or real, who would it be and where would you take them: Ron Swanson, and we’d go to Keens Steakhouse.

Name one Burger in LA that for once, people should get off a plane and go eat instead of In-N-Out: Hole in the Wall Burger Joint in Santa Monica, CA.
